Why bother about exercising, if you will not get the results you want? You may feel that you are being sabotaged by the gym, especially if you do not see the results you want right away, but you may not be exercising in the most efficient and effective way you need. Here is a list of ten tips to make sure you are doing your exercises effectively or that will help you get back on track!
1. Use the right equipment
If you do not wear the right footwear, you will not get a good workout, you will be uncomfortable, and you may even end up with blisters or other more serious injuries. Also, if you do not wear comfortable clothing, you’ll spend most of your time adjusting the pieces and less time working. So it is good to invest in a good set of clothes to exercise, and in a pair of sneakers and do not forget the towel, bottle of water in your sports bag!
2. Heating and Cooling
Before exercising, be sure to warm up for at least five minutes and then finish chilling for at least five minutes and never stretch muscles that have not warmed up first! Warming up should be something simple, such as brisk walking on the treadmill, and a chill can be exactly the same.
3. Have your goal defined
Are you trying to be more toned or defined, or just improving your cardio endurance? Knowing what you want to achieve will help you choose the right exercise and it will be easy to achieve the results you want.
4. Doing things right
If you are doing a new exercise, or are using new equipment, make sure you are doing it, or use it correctly. Doing an exercise improperly, or using a machine the wrong way, would be ineffective, and you could even injure yourself! If you are not sure of anything, ask for help!
5. Do not miss
For any exercise session to be effective, you have to do it regularly. You cannot expect to see results if you are only exercising twice a week! Treat with four days a week, if you are very excited then do it five. To get the best result you have to do it regularly and you should not expect a result within a short period of time.
6. Sweat enough
Remember this simple rule: if you’re not sweating, you’re not getting an effective exercise! Another good indicator is heart rate and breathing. If you can still sing aloud or have a conversation, you are not working enough, and if your heart is not throbbing fast, or you are not panting a bit, then the exercises are too easy, add a little weight, a few repetitions more, or a stronger tilt or resistance and breaks to sweat!
7. Stay constant
If you do not see or feel the results immediately, do not give up! You will not see results of an effective exercise in the first few days; this may take weeks or months to see a big improvement, so keep trying!

If you are concerned that your routine is not an effective training for the whole body, remember that variety is the key. You will need different types of exercises and among them! The goal is to mix three types: strength, cardio, and stretching. And of those three, try to combine exercises that seem interesting and challenging.
9. Do not take steroids
If you do not see that exercising is not working, you may be tempted to take steroids to improve your performance. Do not do it! Using hormones or steroids to change your exercise session may seem like a good idea, but it is terribly dangerous and unhealthy.
10. Talk to a specialist
